    I learned of Dr. Brar’s passing this morning. She mentored l and others at Cermak Health Services. Dr. Brar was a excellent friend and mother figure to me. I look to her example daily. She has made me a better person and clinician.

    I feel so sad. I will treasure our times past. I was very excited when she went to India to teach Public Policy.

    Please accept my sincere condolences during this diffucult time..
