Maria De Jesus Medina (nee Gonzales) age 88 of Bolingbrook, IL passed away January 16, 2013. Loving mother of Lupe (Barbara Ann), the late Jesse (Carol), Carlos, the late Robert, Alma (Victor) Russell, Emma (Kevin) McCarthy and Clayton (Penny). Dear grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 9, great great grandmother of 2. Fond sister of the late Francisco , Donaciano, Andres, Guillermo, Francisca Gutierrez and Eleno.
Funeral Tuesday 9:30AM from Bolingbrook-McCauley Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 530 W. Boughton Rd. (1 mi. West of Rt. 53, at Schmidt Rd.) Bolingbrook to St. Francis of Assisi Church Mass 10 A.M. Interment at Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Visitation Monday 3-8 PM

My aunt always showed me her love. What i remember the most was she was always sitting and knitting. She loved doing that and always made the baby’s first blanket with a smile on her face. I loved when my mom and her would spend weekends together you could always see their sister love. My aunt always defended me when my mom would discipline me which I loved. She will be missed but i know that her and my mom will spend their life eternally.
