Rudolpho Desiga
February 24, 2013
Rudolpho Desiga, known to neighbors and friends as Rudy passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the age of 93.
Rudy was one of the first people to live in Bolingbrook. He had once owned real estate down the street from the house that he lived in for over 50 years. He was a lifetime resident. He loved people and was always joking and making you smile. Wherever he went there was always a smile and someone waiting to greet him and share their day.
Rudy was a business man most of his life. Working for a large printing/advertising firm for almost 4 decades. He would often take his children with him to show them how the process worked and to see new cities and states.
He really cared about people and their needs. Rudy was an anonymous donor to chosen charities for over 50 years and continued to do so until his passing.
As the son of Senator Cornellis Deciga of Palermo, Cicily he grew up working hard on a large estate with many beasts in his care. An animal never went hungry if he was around no matter where he was.
Though Rudy lost quite a bit in his lifetime he always remained loving, caring, strong and positive. Rudy is proceeded in death by his wife Emma (Metzger), his daughter Robin, his daughter Kandy, his son Rudy Jr. and his grandaughter Lauren (Bean). Rudy is survived by his daughter Trisha (Bean), son-in-law Greg (Bean), grandson Joshua and adopted children Clyde (Gadd) Deborah (Gadd) and Pamela (Gadd). He will be deeply missed.
