When A Death Occurs

Do not try to notify the funeral home of a death by e-mail. Please notify us by phone at 630-759-1212. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day. Listed below are some guidelines to use when a death has occured.

If death occurs at a hospital, nursing home, or other institution, simply instruct that facility to notify us. We will come over at the appropriate time and bring your loved one back to the funeral home. We do not take your loved one to a central holding facility; they are taken directly to our funeral home.

If the death occurs at home and the deceased is under hospice care, call the hospice provider and they will call the funeral home at the appropriate time. In cases of sudden death or when someone is found dead, you must call 911. Once the Coroner has released the decedent, the Police will call the funeral home for you.

If death occurs away from home, call us at 630-759-1212, and we will make the necessary arrangements to have your loved one brought back here.

A special thank you to CABINETS 4U, a local Bolingbrook Business for a beautiful job on our new Cabinetry and Granite Countertops in our newly remodeled coffee lounge for the comfort of our families we serve!

Information about Preplanning

Today more than ever, people are choosing to pre-plan or prepay for their own funeral arrangements. Such planning helps to prevent the surviving family members from having to make arrangements on short notice, reduces emotional strain and helps to ensure that the wishes of the deceased will be respected.
