    To the Langston family

With heart filled sympathy to all of you. I trust that you will remember the great memories of cousin Wilbur, who I only met once as an adult in 2006. I remember a man that showed great interest in meeting his family and shared much information with me. My Mother Elizabeth Ryner Polk told me how cousin Wilbur was such a gentleman when she visited Chicago many years ago.

In my prayers you will be and in my heart you will always be loved
Erwin Polk your cousin in Delaware

  7. Kesha Leach says:

A good man my eye! This man was the embodiment of evil in the flesh! You see Mr. Langston was my 7th grade teacher at Leslie Lewis Elementary School in Chicago Il. While his student in 1985, the Lord spoke to me and I wrote Footprints In the Sand and another poem Look to this Day. Mr. Langston stole and published my poems and never gave me any credit for my work. All the while, I became a distraught struggling single mother with four children. Just as God promised to carry me during my storms, that’s exactly what he did. I was persecuted all my life because I wrote God’s words and with no proof people thought I was insane. I am sure he deserves where he is right now, and after a sin like that, I can assure you that it is not in heaven! Maybe now this world will begin to be a better place because that monster is gone!!!!
Kesha Leach the true author of Footprints in the Sand

    Dear Family,

My brother and myself attended the old Tennyson school on the westside of Chicago. Of course Mr. Langston was our favorite teacher. Mr.Langston was loved by all the students. He and others taught many family members of children through the years. I had the honor of teaching with him at the same school many years later. I just found out by looking at the Teachers’ Union magazine memorial of his passing. God Bless your family and I know Mr. Langston will be missed!
    Sincerely,
    Alice Jackson

Information about Preplanning

Today more than ever, people are choosing to pre-plan or prepay for their own funeral arrangements. Such planning helps to prevent the surviving family members from having to make arrangements on short notice, reduces emotional strain and helps to ensure that the wishes of the deceased will be respected.
